For two incredible nights, Harry Potter fans will gather in New York for a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Fans will enjoy one of their favorite actors in the award-winning play, Equus, attend an Equus workshop, meet an Equus Cast Member, play HP Fan Trips' Wizarding Game, inspired by Harry's favorite sport and more!
We are very excited to announce a major enhancement to the included Equus Workshop. After seeing this riveting and astonishing play, you will have the special opportunity to meet a cast member from the Broadway company of Equus. On the following day, you will arrive at a rehearsal studio where Broadway auditions and rehearsals actually take place. You will have an inside experience of the Broadway Theatre scene, while having an in-depth discussion about this extraordinary play. The Equus cast member will share his journey in being a part of this Tony Award winning play, adding insights of the script, sharing his rehearsal experience, and giving you behind the scenes stories in an intimate setting. You will be able to ask questions and discuss your experience as well-- how the play spoke to you. A truly exciting experience. And one you'll never forget.
About Equus : Written by two-time Tony Award-winning playwright Peter Shaffer, Equus is the powerful and provocative story of a stable boy and the psychiatrist who tries to unravel the religious and sexual mystery that ensues when the troubled teenager blinds six horses in his care. Daniel Radcliffe, the young, international star of the popular Harry Potter films, plays the stable boy and Richard Griffiths, the Tony Award-winning actor who is also a featured character in the Potter films, plays the psychiatrist. This eagerly-anticipated production will be the first Broadway revival of Equus, which won the Tony Award for Best Play in 1975. May be inappropriate for 16 and under. (Nudity, subject matter) Children under the age of 4 are not permitted in the theatre.
