HP Fan Trips in 2006 were a great success! Many of the exciting new locations and activities, as suggested by fans, guides and staff, were combined to provide the “perfect” Fan Trip. Due to this success, we found that fans were already planning their 2007 travels based on the trip choices offered in 2006. We decided not to make major changes to these great programs but have tweaked them a bit in our effort to continually provide updated and high quality programs.

Some of these new elements include:

• Blenheim Palace - lake scenes
• Cruise down the Thames - flight scene as Harry is pursued in London

Fans have voted with their dollars and they want longer trips and high quality hotels. Our most popular trips have always been the programs with 4-star hotels and with the longer itineraries. As a result, the Weekend and the Mini-Week programs are no longer offered.

Fans said that the "fast-paced" Location Location tour was too fast-paced and that they would like less time in London. We have added one night to the program and split the trip with overnights in London, Oxford, The Highlands and Edinburgh. Fans can take a more leisurely pace to get the most out of their adventure in the UK.

Perhaps the most significant change for 2007 trips is the weak dollar. The U.S. Dollar has significantly lost its buying power compared with the British Pound. HP Fan Trips has worked hard to ensure that your trip to the UK remains an excellent value despite this challenge. We continually strive to maintain a high level of service, as well as exciting activities, private parties and a high quality of hotels at a competitive price. While the trips have a higher price tag this year, no where else can you find trips to Britain of such high quality at HP Fan Trips prices. Research indicates that tours by other companies with similar exclusive events and inclusions are priced 30-50% higher than HP Fan Trips. We are proud to be able to bring Harry Potter fans unparalleled experiences at affordable rates.

These elements remain the same:

• Group Size - We are capping each group at 42 people. This will allow groups to move at a better, more fluid pace and enjoy an intimate experience. Minimum group size is 30 people.
• Coaches and Guides - Each group will be assigned its own guide and coach (transportation). Therefore, even though there will be multiple groups in the same city throughout the tours, each group will depart independently and stay with the same guide the entire time.
• Large Venues - While groups will be kept separate throughout their itineraries, exceptions include the train, the day at Alnwick Castle, the party at the top of the gondola in The Highlands and the banquet at Edinburgh Castle. This way, all the participants can get together and mingle in a larger, more diverse atmosphere.
• Airport Transfers - We will coordinate a transfer time period for each group, dependent upon the flight schedules of each person. If your flight schedule does not fall within the allotted timeframes as noted on your itinerary, you will be responsible for your own transfers to/from the airport.
• Includes two nights in The Highlands where many location shots were filmed
• Edinburgh Castle is exclusively ours for the final gala banquet and party!
• Visit a cave which might remind more than a few fans of Book 6
• Secured the entire hotel used by cast and crew in Glencoe for 3 of the HP Fan Trips groups
• Exciting Drawing for the chance to stay in the rooms used by Dan Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, Emma Watson and Tom Felton (for those on the 9-day tours)
• Includes a flight from London to Inverness to shorten travel time and to allow for a visit to Loch Ness, a must-see for most visitors
